focusing can be funny. this is either my camera (my sigma 70-200 does the same) or sigma lenses in general. it can sometimes pic two focus points. 1 bang on the other suggesting front focusing.

great range on this lens (35mm equiv 48mm on 20D). image quality, contrast colour balance all very good. using it at f1.4 needs deadly accurate focusing and a still subject lol. good wide open and very very good stepped down a little.

This is an extremely pleasing lens to use. It is very well built and feels nicely balanced on my Canon 20D. Optically it is better than the other Canon lenses in the same focal length (with the obvious exceoption of the Canon 35mm 1.4L) A great lens to keep on your camera.
