Model Reviewed: OM-Zuiko 35mm f2.8 Shift

Strength:

Good for landscape photography & architechtural work. unfortunately the only Zuiko shift that doesnt cost a fortune. with a small 7mm extension tube it can be used for small subjects, like fungi with great success.

Weakness:

Some distortions and some flare at extreme settings. A bit too narrow field of view for my taste.

A must have for those who photograph archtectural subjects. A bit slow to use.

Strength:

Its a Perspective Control lens. I have been very impressed with it's sharpness and contrast stopped down a bit, even though my example is an earlier single-coated model.

Weakness:

Don't get one for general purpose use. It is a special purpose lens that fills a particular need, but it does this very well.

If you need a shift lens, the Olympus Zuiko 35mm f2.8 lens is not hard to find used and for a very reasonable price. Performance is also very good. More typically found for $400-$500 used.
