Excellent sharpness and contrast across to the edges. Excellent close up edge sharpness and can get view camera-like results. Very compact--my favorite wide angle.

* Good rectilinear image but be careful not to introduce distortion through tilting the camer!

This is a very useful lens but needs care in composing/framing the shot. One of Olympus's best compact lenses (there is also a larger 21/2 but I haven't tried it). Quite easy to find on the used market for a reasonable price.
