flimsy tripod collar

Great optics, but you need a lot of light or a rice-bag. Tripod collar really sucks. Can't understand what was in Nikon's developers minds when they made this thing.
BUT, nevertheless it is a great lens with fast AF. Use wathever technique you can think of to hold it still and you won't regret the purchase.

I have the same tip as everybody else : push something between collar and the lens (piece of firm rubber or filmcan for example)and you will see a great improvement!
