The 500mm f/4.5 APO (Apochromatic) lens is a super long telephoto lens designed for photojournalism, sports, wildlife, landscape, fashion, portraiture and beauty. This internal focus lens utilizes Low Dispersion glass and exhibits optimal correction for chromatic aberration even at wide open aperture. To expand the possibilities of the 500mm f/4.5 APO lens, Mamiya has a 2x Extender N-2 which doubles the effective focal length to 1000mm f/9.
