Strength:
Hand holdable (If there is such a word). Sharp image and I love the circular aperture.
Weakness:
None that comes to mind Having owned the Minolta 300 f2.8 I found this lens to be equaly sharp. I havn't missed the extra stop and I certainly havn't missed the weight. I've used it wide open and I havn't seen any fall off in quality. Very impressed. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Minolta 300 f2.8 Minolta 200 f2.8 MD (Not good) |

Strength:
VERY sharp, lightweight
Weakness:
none so far I am very happy with this lens as I'm not going to considere the f2.8 version... the weight of this lens is perfect. Have shoot three rolls of film of wild animals, they all came out sharp and nice. Similar Products Used: None |

AF 300mm f/4 APO G Maxxum
Strength:
This lens gives you the same level of quality in construction and glass as the higher priced 300 f2.8. All my prints are razor sharp, it can be hand held if needed, and the manual focus ring is in the right spot.
Weakness:
NONE For those on a tight budget and want a lens that will give really great results, this is it. Customer Service Not yet Similar Products Used: Sigma, Nikon |
