Strength:
Sharp, very fast focus, marvelous bokeh, very well build, build-in lenshood, light (for the aperture it provides, and compared to zooms with the same aperture)
Weakness:
none If you get hold of that lens cheap, get it. It's worth the money. Even if it's the old version, it can't get any better. The bokeh of the lens is just great. And it focus fast with a 700si/9xi. It's one of my favorite lens. Using the Minolta TC 1.4 slows down the AF speed thought, but it's a great combo. Customer Service not used for that lens, but customer Service of Minolta in Switzerland, it's great so far. Similar Products Used: Sigma APO 2.8/70-210 |

Hard to find:) I like this lens a lot althoug i'm going to return it for a zoon lens soon. Nothing wrong with it, but it is not as flexiable as 80-200mm f2.8. Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
Extremely sharp, well build, excellent color reproduction, good looking!
Weakness:
Errrr......can't think of any I have been using this lens for 9 years, and would happily recommend it to any Minolta user who can live without the flexibility of zoom lenses. In short, one of the best telephoto lenses money can buy! Customer Service No need Similar Products Used: None |
