Strength:

Sharpness, contrast, small size, and overall character

Weakness:

Slight barrel distortion and slight vignetting

A nearly perfect "standard" lens for those (like me) who shoot more with wider lenses. I also have the 21mm Biogon for the really wide shots.. and the combination is wonderful. This lens creates slides and negatives with excellent "snap", vivid representations, and wonderful color. I've shot more film with this lens in the 4 months since buying my G1 than I had in the previous 4 years... it's that much fun!

Strength:

Versatility

Weakness:

None

This lens is so versatile. Compact, and reasonably fast. Small and discrete. The beauty of it is it's wide enough to take landscapes and architecture photography, but still does an admirable job of faces at close range.I use this lens 90% of the time and my Sonnar 90mm 10% or less.
