Focus speed reduction noticable The 1.4x tele-converter is a top-notch accesory for your Minolta prime APO lenses. There is no visible reduction in sharpness when used. Color balance is the same as without. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to extend their prime lens without much of a sacrifice. Focus speed reduction noticed but minimal. essentially maintains the optical resolution, contras, and color balance of the prime lens

none I''ve used this converter with the 300 f2.8 and 400 f4.5 APO lenses with excellent results. As expected there is a slight reduction of focusing speed and the loss of one f stop.
