Strength:
You can change your self the flash tube if it broke. Very acurate. Construction very good (metal)and come with a protective cover for the flash tube. You can turn off the modeling light, independant of the flash. You can select a noise ''bip'' to indicate you when the flash are full charge of select the modeling light that turn off after shooting and when the flash came back full charge, the modeling light turn on.
Weakness:
The bag who came with it, was broke after my fisrt use. So the distributor in Canada replace it by an other one , a Opus made and it's much better quality. The light stand who come with it, are a Manfrotto 052 and they should give Manfrotto 004 instead for more stability. l replaced my old Courtenay flashes by the Bowens Esprit II, 500 watts kit. It come with 2 light stand, 1 sofbox, 1 umbrella, the reflector and a bag. After many shooting, l found thoses flashes very acurate and good lighting with stability of the flash. l'm very glad of it, the best unit that l ever had. Yhe only regrets that the smaller Bowens flash (Esprit II, 125 watts) is not available in 110 volts for north america. It should be a good hair light flash. Customer Service In Canada, very good service. Similar Products Used: Courtenay 5000 & 8000. |
