Being the 1st hand held exposure meter I've ever used, this was surprisingly easy to get familiar with, and easy to use. I'm sure I will enjoy this meter for years to come!

Strength:

Small an accurate, clear readout. You can create an "automatic" compensation for filters.

Weakness:

Batteries, if you don't use it for a couple of weeks/ months they are probably empty!
There is no head like on the minolta to tilt.

Very good lightmeter.

Strength:

A nicely made hand held meter. The narrow light measuring angle of 25 degrees is like a center weighted meter in a SLR with a normal lens. It also has incident light metering which comes in very handy when close to the photo subject.

Weakness:

No problems, but I believe Gossen prefers to calibrate their meters to give about 1/2 F stop less exposure than Japanese made equivalents. As with any new meter test and adjust to taste with your favorite chrome.

I use this meter all the time because it is small, accurate, and easy to read.
