This is a powerhouse flash. It's extremely durable and reliable. Most of the weight is on the battery pack. Therefore, the flash is extremely lite when mounted on the bracket.

The faulty switch in the head. All in all its a good work horse. Pricey.

Be very careful of purchasing a new unit. There is currently a problem with the switch on the head where the diffuser snaps into place. Metz knows of the problem and has yet to fix it.

Excellent service for the most part. However, had the switch replaced twice on the head. During the second repair I spoke directly with the Manager of the maintenance and Service Department. He informed me of the new design in the switch and its problem. Thankfully he replaced the switch with an older monel and the problem has never returned.
