The 45 ct-4 and the 45cl-4 are
great flash units.
I've got the older brother ct-4 for my
Nikon F2 photomic.
It works great, no need to be dedicated.
Just plug the PC cord into place and
fire away.

Even though mine is 15-20 years old.
It still does the job, except the fact
that I don't have the SCA-300 adaptor.
Buy it new or used, any Metz flash would
give you years of reliable service.

the diffuser before changing
film speed selector.
Don't use any other battery
pack unless it says "Metz".

An excellent unit, ideal for use with Medium Format. I recommend it whole heartedly. The choice of apertures on the auto setting is good and the flash constantly gives accurate exposures.Good for Amateurs and Professionals alike. I borrowed one to start off with and then just had to buy one!

Such a realiable speedlight.

A little discomfortable if you are used to shoe mounted flash. After a while you won't notice it anymore.

Great powerful flash, with the wide angle attachment in place "mine never comes off" it will cover large bridel partys.

I used a quantum battery for a couple of weeks and it burned out the flash tube, Metz warned that this flash should not be used with a quantum battery,

This a is a great powerful flash, and if you are thinking about buying ONE flash you can trust this is the flash for you!
I love it and would only use Metz on my medium format camera "stroboframe flip flash" Buy it you will love it!
