    Strength:

Tons of power, bounce option, sensor works outdoors, whereas some sensors won't work unless you direct some of your flash'es light to the sensor with a piece of white cardboard, etc. Fits easily in most camera bags. Solidly built.

    Weakness:

Too powerful up close, needs a diffuser or the bouce option. Zoom creates a circular channel of light, but that's not a problem when zoomed in.

Works perfectly with a Canon A630. With this flash, you can take digital photos in total darkness at 90 feet. Perfect for using your point-and-shoot digital camera for serious photos, like your kid getting his/her diploma, etc., when you can't get right up close. Too powerful at close range unless you use a diffuser, or strictly bounce option.

Two auto ranges plus manual, which makes it very versatile. Big, but not unmanageable. Fairly fast recycle time.

    Strength:

Seems to be well built, visual only. It is BIG.

    Weakness:

Documentation is very limited. The unit I recieved does not work at all.

Got mine this afternoon. Put batteries in, then others, then others, double checked multiple times the batterie installation and.....nothing!
I called both numbers at 5:30 PM, got a voicemail. There are not instructions that cover how to put the batteries in, trouble shooting, reset, etc. Finding the battery configuration takes a flashlight to see the markings inside the battery compartment.
Delivery was good, had mine delivered next Business day, and it was.

It is Laying here, dead on my desk, and not one to call.
If things look better tomorrow I will resubmit my evaluation. It was really disappointing to see the documentation so sparcely done.
