Strength:
Handle feels good and easy to "forget" the camera and just tote it by the bracket handle. Nice and solid. All metal.
Weakness:
My flash didn't fit to snug when tightened down. All you have to do though is add a little extra padding in there and works fine. Ackward to hold at first in the vertical posistion. Nice and sturdy...Rebel 2000 fits on it very snug without any camera movement during use. Quick flip is a snap to use...just remember to flip it when you go for vertical shots or you will have back shadows. I do enjoy how the back shadows are gone. You do get some shadows underneath chins though because the light is falling downward. Customer Service None yet. Similar Products Used: None. |

All of it!!
Weakness:
The only "nit pick" thing I can say is that it moves the flash a little bit to the left when shooting vertical, but nothing too noticable for many people. I still suggest this bracket for the "just starting out" photographers and those whose like to have an extra bracket around. This was my first bracket I used when I was introduced to when I started photography. And I must say that it was a very hard working bracket, esecially for the money. ;) I used this bracket for the first four years of my career and still use it to this day for my Mamiya 1000s 645 camera. I currently use the Stroboframe Camera Flip bracket for my EOS 3. I was going to sell the Quickflip bracket when I purchased the new Camera Flip but it just made more sense to keep it as a spare. And I'm glad I did keep. :D Customer Service Not needed. Similar Products Used: Stroboframe Camera Flip Bracket |

Strength:
Very basic design, simple to use, flash is almost always centered unless it's a very tall flash. Looks great too. Most suited to lighter flashes.
Weakness:
Beware! It's very easy to just grab the flash instead of the arm when flipping to a vertical format in a fast-paced setting. I did just that when covering a wedding & broke the foot of my flash, but fortunately managed to find a replacement foot for it. Not too sturdy when I attach & flip a twin flash with 6 AA batteries, so I have to fashion some kind of support when the flash is hanging on its side when shooting in the vertical format. Neat bracket to have & very convenient to use. Similar Products Used: Stroboframe Camera Flip Flash Bracket. this is definitely a better all-round bracket. |

Strength:
Well built and inexpensive.
Weakness:
needs a better screw assembly for connecting an SB-28 speedlight. no accessory mount on the bottom of the bracket. Great bang for the buck. It''s a well built handy accessory bracket well suited to my N-80. Attaching an SB-28 flash to the bracket is a bit cumbersome, and I''ve had to rig a special thumb screw assembly to make this a quick procedure. Also, an accessory mount on the bottom of the bracket would greatly increase the usefulness of the product, enabling it for tripod mounted use. Customer Service Not needed. Strength:
Ease of use and flexibility
Weakness:
Like the other reviewers, I found the foam grip to be a little cheesey so I fabricated a leather grip for the bracket. I''m very pleased with this product. My results have been consistently excellent. Customer Service not needed Similar Products Used: none |

Strength:
holds the flahs high above the lens to prevent red eye and ugly shadows (with vertical shots). like the name- it flips... quickly. I like the foam handle. very comfortable.
Weakness:
you have to hold the bracket if you want the weight of the flash to burden the bracket instead of the camera''s tripod socket. price is to high. nice piece of accessory. you can flip the flash to position it above the lens faster than the blink of a mosquito.(?!) holding the camera with my right palm UNDER it when shooting vertically took me some time to get used to, but once I did... |

Metal built,
Weakness:
Foam handle grip seems a little cheap. A very good flash bracket that gets the job done. It gets the flash above the lens for reducing shadows and red-eye. It easily flips the flash for those vertical shots. A good starter bracket. Works well with my 35mm body, motor drive, lens, flash, and connecting cord. Great for weddings! |
