Best in Designe, Strength, Materials Used, Ease of use, and ability to angle Flash and to keep it ovet the center of the lens in both horizontal and verticle position.

I purchased this Lindahl Bracket for a 35mm Pentax Spotmatic at the Jacob K. Javits Center in Ny City at a Photography Show back around 1984. It was for an addition to my equipment, but Quickly became one of the Best Items I had ever purchased. I did make 1 additional design change immediately, and that was to drill a hole in the base so I could access the camera's rewind release button so I would not have to remove the camera from the bracket to rewind the 35mm film cartridge. I could see why Lindahl did not do this as not all camera makes and models did not have the release button in the same spot, although they did provide holes for the thumb screw at several different positions.
Only weeks later I ordered just the flash portion for a Pentax 6x7, as the 6x7 had it's own accessory handle, so I just had to drill a hole in the top of the handle and attach one of their aluminum shoe mount, sold seperately, to attach the Vivitar 285, which I also installed their flash shoe to the flash.
A short time later I Purchased their Vignette / Lens Shade System. Also 5 Stars.
It has been so long ago, I don't remember the Price.

I just came to the sight to see if the bracket was still available, as a young friend who is getting into the business wants one. I am really surprised that no one ever gave a review before. They just had to be speechless after using it. And I can't Praise it Enough. Johnboy. NE. Penna.
