Strength:
Middle speed for faster film yet relatively no grain increase (it's so small I'm not sure there is any change). great color.
Weakness:
like all slide it is kinda pricey. great slide, will use in the future for certain. I used this film on my trip to NYC as a tourist and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of my slides. I even shot some pictures off the top of the empire state building, but I forgot my polarizer... Well, regardless, I have some nice postcard quality images! Haze? nope! BTW, excellent in blue ranges. Strength:
Excellent reciprocity for long exposures (astrophotography, aurorae), with little or no colour shift. Very little grain, even if pushed to EI400. It also has good sensitivity at the H-alpha wavelength (656.3nm), unlike almost all other emulsions. This is essential for imaging emission nebulae in H-II regions.
Weakness:
None Excellent astrophotographic film. Probably the best. Similar Products Used: Most Kodak, Fuji, Agfa. |

Strength:
Colors are neutral and accurate. Grain pretty good for speed. Fair pushability.
Weakness:
Low saturation. Kodak touts pushability, but increase in grain discouraging. Speed of this film is good for a large variety of situations. Used for wildlife photography until introduction of Provia 400F. Good film for consumer market, professionals will want improvement since Fuji introduced 400F. Strength:
fine grain
Weakness:
a bit pricey This is my favorite film for the 400/5.6 that I hand hold for flight shots. I would use it for everything if it were cheaper. I've never noticed the grain or a problem with saturation compared to Sensia. Similar Products Used: kodachrome 200 |

Strength:
-Vibrant colors: big in blues, blacks, whites
Weakness:
Some grain there but this is 200 speed Extra speed, pushability, and wide lattitude make this film very versatile and on top of this it dependably brings back great images from very different circumstances. Personally I love the colors, but this is subjective. I find it tough to take a bad picture with E200. Customer Service Kodak has a great website Similar Products Used: lots |

Strength:
Nice neutral colours, adequately bright but not overly so, great for portraits
Weakness:
Not punchy enough for landscapes and other outdoor shots. Great slide film for portraits (but yet to be compared to Provia 100F and Kodachrome 64), but not quit enough for outdoor landscapes (for that I'll use Velvia but only on non-overcast days). Overall, I'd say this is a good overall film. Similar Products Used: Velvia |

Strength:
Fast (200 speed)
Weakness:
None As a regular user of Fuji Velvia 50 for landscapes, I tried Kodak Ektachrome E 200 recently. It was an overcast day, and I did not have a tripod. The 200 speed (I did not push it) helped me do a lot of handheld shots with fast shutter speeds. I am very happy with the results. Of course it is grainy compared to Velvia, but the sharpness is excellent. I also like the neutral color rendition. Similar Products Used: Fuji Provia 100 |

Strength:
Fine grain for ISO 200
Weakness:
Not very saturated Excellent ISO 200 slide film that is not overly saturated. Grain is not particularly noticeable, minimally different than ISO 100 slide film. Takes a 1 stop push (exposed at EI320) with insignificant grain increase or color shift. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Elite Chrome 200 |

Ektachrome E200
Strength:
Very flexible, outstanding color saturation without messing with skin tones.
Weakness:
None. A very flexible film when traveling. Adapts to conditions. Kodak rates the color saturation as enhanced but it's a bit better boarder the E100S staturation level. When pushed the contrast increases a bit but not out of range. Have pushed it to 320 and 800 with excellent results. Push to 320 and ad a polarizer and you will match saturation levels of Velvia with light to spare. Similar Products Used: None |
