Strength:
Ektachrome VS is a great film to use to capture stunning, vivid colors - especially for exteriors. It pushes well and its grain holds up well to printing.
Weakness:
None The best 100 speed film out there in terms of bold color. I alternate between VS and Velvia depending on the situation. Kodak has finally come up with another great slide film. Customer Service None Similar Products Used: Fuji Velvie, Fujia Astia, Fujia Provia |

This film delivers excellent saturation, neutral colors, and fine grain at its specified ISO of 100.
Weakness:
None I find E100VS to be a very pleasant film to use since it provides a very natural, intense rendition of the landscapes and outdoor still lifes that I most like to photograph. Similar Products Used: I have used Fuji Provia 100 extensively. I find this film to be somewhat warmer and more saturated, especially under co |

good color-saturation,but not as posterish as Velvia.True ASA 100 against Velvia at ASA40(!)
Weakness:
skin-tone still a bit dicey. Kodak has a winner there and sharpness, grain and push-ability are first rate. Customer Service good info from Kodak Similar Products Used: Provia 100 RDP 2 also very fine, have used it after the Lumiere accident, but think that I'll switch to the new Ekta |

Strength:
Great for outdoor work and scenics. Holds shadow detail and pushes great, too!
Weakness:
Skin tones in shade go off-color, would not recommend here. I rate it at 125 and have had great results. I think the Elite 100 Extra-color is more contrasty and as such, is not as pushable. The extra speed over Velvia really makes a difference and it is neutral in tone. The whites are pure, except for skin tones in shadows. I wouldn't use Velvia for portraits, either. If you want a little more contrast, use the Elite and save a few bucks. Customer Service No need. Similar Products Used: Velvia, E100S/SW, Elitechrome Extra-color |

Really saturated and sometimes it helps shadow detail thanks to it.
Weakness:
- Not as good as Velvia but faster. Elite Chrome Extra Colour (the consumer version) is more forgiving towards exposure and shadows. Customer Service - Similar Products Used: Almost all films. |

Lives up to the VS (vivid saturation) on it's label. Looks great even at 11x14.
Weakness:
None This film does not beat out velvia but is great for nature work when you want that extra stop. Similar Products Used: Velvia 50 |

Strength:
GREAT color saturation, clean highlights
Weakness:
None This is a beautiful film, especially when you want punchy color saturation. I really like the extra stop of speed that I can get over Velvia. I recommend rating it at 80 ASA or rating at 100 with a 1/3 push in processing. Similar Products Used: Fuji Velvia & Provia, Kodak EPP & E100S/SW |

None I have been a Fuji/Agfa user for years and have tried new Kodak films from time-to-time, only to be disappointed with them. However, I have tried a few rolls of this film, had 8 x 12 prints made through an Ilfochrome process and was impressed. Similar Products Used: Fuji Provia, Agfa RSX 100 |
