Strength:

Weakness:
grainy, colours, sharpness I used two rolls of this film recently for bird photography. I used this film because I needed something better than ISO 100. I didn''t like the results at all. The colours are not saturated, very grainy, not sharp. I''ll stay away from this film. |

Strength:
Tight grain, neutral color.
Weakness:
Doesn't push as well as Kodak EliteChrome 200. A decent film at a good price. I prefer the warmer look and better pushing of the EliteChrome 200. Still Fuji and Kodak have been competing over this turf for decades, and each new emulsion gets better and better. Customer Service The reps on the 800# seem knowledgeable. Strength:
Least expenisve slide film I could find.
Weakness:
Please refer to review. I have shot a dozen rolls of this film with mixed subjects: some people, some nature; both indoor and outdoor. I have reached the point of maximum frustration, however, because I am finding that my slides look overly grainy. I had some 8 x 12 enlargements made and the model's skin and much else came out looking grainy and distorted. I am hoping it's just the lab I am using: Flair Color Lab, Inc., at Harmon's in Gainesville. This is supposedly a "pro" lab, i.e., not a drug store. Does anyone have any advice they can share? I am using a new Nikon camera and Promaster 28-105 lens. Customer Service Not used. Similar Products Used: Elite Chrome 200 and 100. |

Strength:
Accurate colour reproduction, decent speed, low grain, produces great prints, standard E6 processing, CHEAP!
Weakness:
Colour saturation a little low for some uses... carry a polariser and a 81A filter! It's not Velvia! I mean this in both good and bad ways... yes, it's not as colour rich as Velvia is (but Velvia is too rich for some uses), but it's also a lot faster, a lot cheaper and a lot more tolerant. Living in England, I need faster films more often than slower films, and Sensia II 200 is ideal for this. I guess the bottom line is this: I always have either this or EC400 in at least one camera body... more often than not, I'll have this stuff in both the bodies I use for slides! Customer Service Never needed. Similar Products Used: Jessops CS100, Velvia, Kodachrome 64, Elite Chrome 400, Elite Chrome Extra Colour |

Strength:
Made by Fuji
Weakness:
Coarse grain, poor colour. I bought this film because I was impressed by Sensia 100 and Provia. Somebody told me that Sensia II got the same formula as Astia. The first roll shows that this is totally wrong. Similar Products Used: Kodachrome, Ektachrome, Elite, Sensia 100, Provia 100F, Velvia |
