Strength:
Very fine detail. Crisp, clean images. Colours are very stiking and life like.
Weakness:
None so far as I can tell. Took my 1st ever roll of slide film, at a wedding a few weeks ago and couldn't believe the results! Taken two more rolls since then and am totally hooked! All 3 rolls were taken using Fuji Sensia 100. I never expected that photography could be so exciting. There's no comparison to the negative photo's I've taken in the past. The quality of the pictures, even for a beginner like me, are so beautiful that I can't wait to take more. I love the way that the image jumps out at you and the transparency of a flower petal is captured so perfectly. Would highly recommend the film to anyone. |

Strength:
sharpness, natural color and fine grain price
Weakness:
possibly a hint toward green. the only reason it rates a four is because of provia f After the last review I felt compelled to write about this film. I use this film almost all the time. The colors are almost perfect with possibly a hint toward green. The skin tones are beautiful and again all other colors are natural without being overly saturated. With regard to grain, I have enlarged to 11x14 several times without the grain being noticeable. Most of those enlargements were macro photos. Except for special work I will always use sensia 100. Professional
Strength:
OK latitude, value, colour for landscapes, controlled contrast.
Weakness:
Skin tones are far from ideal - not nice at all. Lacks true colour definition and depth. Good exposure latitude for what is a cheap slide film, OK colour balance, not horribly contrasty (good). Moderate grain. If you don''t want to spend anything on film this is a good start on the way from the horrible basic Kodak stuff. "Overall" 3 star rating is in comaprison with all the other slide films I''ve used irrespective of price. Weakness:
none that i''ve seen i''ve alwasy had great results with this film. i love the outstanding color saturation and contrast. colors are very accurate. i use it almost exclusively for outdoors scenery. and it''s inexpensive compared to Astia or Provia. Strength:
Price Availability Good color
Weakness:
For the price - none. I bought this film as my casual film when I do weekend travel around my home. The speed and the price are hard to beat. I am very happy with this film and would use it over and over again if didn''t have my Velvia or Provia around. It''s a perfect all-around slide film. Strength:
Price, Sharpness, grain size
Weakness:
It can only be pushed 1 stop according to Fuji and there is a slight shift in the blue You'll be hard pressed to find a comparable film in the price range though I am starting to lean towards the E100. Similar Products Used: Kodak E100 |

Strength:
PRICE!
Weakness:
None really, though not as sharp as Provia 100F, but the again its heaps cheaper too!! Excellent film for the money, good colour rendition (heaps more natural than velvia) and grain size is not objectionable. A good all purpose slide film. Fujichrome Sensia II 100
Strength:
Fine grain, high sharpness, clean and bright colour, good skin tones, LOW PRICE!
Weakness:
No major weaknesses. This is an excellent 100 speed slide film. I recommend it to beginning or intermediate photographers. Even expert photographers should find something to like about it. In Canada, you can buy this film at an even lower prices at Black's Photography stores, under the Black's Memories name. Only $12.99 CDN for single 36 exp rolls, or $49.99 for 5packs, and that includes processing. If you haven't yet tried this film, do yourself a favour and shoot a few rolls. Strength:
Grain. Very good quality for a consumer film
Weakness:
None This has become my standard 100 ASA film. I like the results at least as well as those from the old Provia 100 (RDPII), and Sensia 100 is a much better value. Similar Products Used: Provia 100 |
