Strength:

Very good color saturation

Weakness:

Tends to be warmer, but that's not always a bad thing.

Juding film outside of a lab can always be tricky, so many variables. However, I have to agree with Matt's post. Over the years I have randomly gave Fuji a try, and everytime without fail I have gotten better over-all prints back with Kodak. With one exception... during a visit to a green house in Denver I shot a roll of both Kodak RG and Fuji Reala (both 100iso). In these case Fuji provided better results with exception to close-ups of flowers. From my experiance, Fuji handles green a little better, and mis handles medium bright reds badly. Kodak RG has given me very nice full spectrum color, that is just a tad weaker in greens, but in the finished print looks better (for most of my photo's). But I still carry a roll of Reala for those times I find myself shooting greenery dominate situations.

Strength:

My favorite 100 speed negative colour film. Low grain, good saturation (although a bit much from time to time) and ok lattitude.

Weakness:

I want my Ektar 25 back! In 220, no less! :-)

This is where Kodak shows off. The Royal Gold film series is so superior to the "gold" series that I hardly know where to start. I've got quite a few keepers on this stuff.

A good film, but not in the same league as Royal Gold 25, which this film purportedly replaces.

This is my favorite print film, though it's a bit slow if you don't use a tripod (I do, see Gitzo).

Strength:

I like Kodak. It's my favorite type of film because of the quality of color and clarity.

Weakness:

I don't really like to use ASA 100 that much because you're limited to very sunny situations. ASA 200 is better.

You're always safe when using Kodak film.Guaranteed high quality prints. Just don't use this speed of film at dusk.
