Weakness:
Everything. It was grainy and produced just awful looking photos. Was consistently underexposed at EI 800 in several different cameras If I every try this film again it will be at EI 400 or even 300. This film just can't be underexposed. Similar Products Used: Most Kodak and Fuji consumer films |

Strength:
If you need the speed (like long telephoto photography of wildlife), you can get pretty decent colors and acceptable grain. Relatively cheap and readily available.
Weakness:
Some grain, but not as much as the previous reviews would suggest. The grain is about 1/10 as noticable as Fuji Provia 400 slide film. This isn't THAT grainy, but it would not be a great film for skies. But who on earth uses 800 ISO film for skies? Customer Service None needed Similar Products Used: None at 800 ISO. Many at 400 ISO (Fuji and Kodak). |

Strength:
Love the versatiliy of fast film combined with fast lens, performs well indoors, availability
Weakness:
horrible outdoors, colour is absolutely disgusting and bland photos of my cousins indoors with natural light looked fine with pleasing grain(though probaly look crap at anything beyond postcard size) and nice 'vivid' colour but not overly so. Outdoors was a different story and a waste of film. all in all I'd keep one roll handy just in case i run out of Portra. you get what you pay for I say. Customer Service nope Similar Products Used: pj 800(worse) |

Strength:
Outdoor shots
Weakness:
Indoor, Non Flash shots or any shot with a low light. Kodak 400 Gold is almost the same price and a much better film than 800 max. Even the Lab people, where I developed this film were amazed. They haven;t seen this result from my photography yet. Similar Products Used: Kodak 100, 200, 400 |

Strength:
it works (kind of)
Weakness:
lousy colours I shot 2 rolls of this - I took the second one to a different processor because the results from the first were so bad. Sadly the second was no better. I knew to expect grainy prints with fast film but these still surprised me! To be honest I only even tried it because it got a good review in a magazine (which I won't trust again). I won't be buying this film again, The ony other really fast film I have used is Fuji 1600 which was far better (also grainy, but somehow in a nice way,& better colours)! Customer Service didn't bother Similar Products Used: Kodak 400 |

Strength:
Cheap and easy to get on the road...
Weakness:
It was made... This is probably the worst name brand film I've ever shot (outdoors/indoors-no flash). Washed out color, very bland outdoors and grainy indoors. Very boring film... I wouldn't use this film again even in a pinch. I bought a 4 pack and gave the last roll away. If you need 800, go with fujipress 800.
