Strength:
Fine Grain, Extremely archival, Super Color. Saturated but accurate.
Weakness:
Kodak's lack of interest in preserving the finest line of film ever conceived. After the unfortunate demise of KM25 we are left with it's faster sibling KR64. KM25 was always the film which all others were compared to (in Kodak's own words). KR64 has since become the film which has set the benchmark for all other 35mm reversal films (IMO). Not overly saturated or cartoonish like some of it's rival's. Very low grain, unmatched archival qualities, realistic skin tones. I could go on and on, but if you've used it you know it is fine, if you haven't, buy a roll and be impressed before it's too late.. PS. Only one processing facility, Dwaynes in Kansas. Inexpensive processing through Wal-Mart. Customer Service Is there any customer service for this film? Let me know when you find it. Similar Products Used: Velvia, KM25, |
