Strength:

Easy to use, good color balance. No cast.

Weakness:

Grainy in comparing with its counterparts.

It is the decent film with good color definitions and pretty wide latitude. It is Ok, if you like get good results with minimum efforts like filters switching and shadow compensation. Personally I prefer Kodak Supra 100. There are little more efforts, but the final pictures are really stunning.

Strength:

-Fabulous, saturated, but natural appearing colors -Minimal grain -Low contrast

Weakness:

It''s not ISO 800

I am always pleased and somewhat amazed when I get back prints made with Superia Reala. They are extraordinarily crisp and vibrant, but the colors are natural, not paint-like. Because the film is relatively low in contrast, shadow and highlight detail hold up very well under bright conditions. By the same token, images may appear a bit flat under cloudy conditions. Grain is the finest that I have ever seen from a color print film. I usually rate Superia Reala at EI 80. It prints very well on Kodak Royal paper.

Perfect quality film, absolutely glorious! Vivid colors, nice contrast, stable results. This is one of the better films that I used in my life. Try it and you’ll love it. I suppose that Fuji makes best in the world films both for printing and for slides.

Strength:

Very pleasing skin tones, fine grain. Does not give this ugly greenish tint under fluorescent light.

Weakness:

saturation at 100 ISO can be higher, but for portraits this is no big deal.

Very nice all-around film. I use it when I am out of my favourite Agfa Optima II 100. To give it more saturation I usually rate it at 64, but develop like 100 speed film. However, doing that, special care should be taken about highlights.

Strength:

Finest grain and best sharpness of any color print film I've tried. Accurate colors. Handles mixed lighting well.

Weakness:

A little hard to find (usually only available at camera shops).

This is my first choice of color film. Kodak products (at least their consumer lines) have more grain and too much contrast for my taste. The only time I use anything else is when I need a faster film (then I use NHGII).

By the way (for "nilesh" and others), if you are getting a blue color cast with this film (or any other print film) it is the fault of your lab for not filtering properly during the printing process, not the fault of the film. If your lab is too lazy to change their machines from the Kodak settings when printing other brands of film, maybe you should change labs.

Strength:

unbelievale sharpness.

Weakness:

Colors are to the dull side, blueish cast if not used correctly. Normally i don't use warming filter with fuji but in this i had to.

Amazing sharpness, and low grain size. Great for natural skin tones, no vibrant colors here. I prefer to overexpose it about 2/3 to 1 stop to get the lifeliness in the pictures. Everybody says old reala was better than this one . I don't know but get the old reala(not superia reala) if you can.

Weakness:

Hard to get!

This is a great film for all situations. Some people complain about the neutral colour, but I for one love it. Hi-lights and shadows are never clumpy (unlike Kodak). This film also handles mixed lighting quite well. Make sure you get this film developed at a pro lab or otherwise you will have a blue shift.

Strength:

good for outdoors and indoors with flash

Weakness:

None

Recently did a wedding for a client using 14 rolls of reala. Both indoor and outdoor shots came out superb with crisp color, contrast and sharpness. The skin tone was natural. The green in outdoor shots were the best I have seen. enlargements to 8x10 did not show any grain.
