Strength:
No grain even at ISO 400 speeds. Good exposure latitude.
Weakness:
A bit on the expensive side. For an ISO 400 film this sure looks more like an ISO 100. Virtually grainless on a 4x7 print and the colors are just absolutely stunning. I did not detect the blueish tinge that other reviewers were speaking about.. maybe I should use more of this film. Moreover, the latitude is just great. I wonder how far I can push this film... Strength:
smooth, fine grain for the speed.
Weakness:
purple turned out to be rather blue-ish on my prints. I shot a lot of superia reala 100 so I must say that I''ve been pretty spoiled by the "reala quality" of grain and color. With a much lower expectation from a 400 film I was pleasantly surprised to see the results from this film. On a side by side comparison with Kodak MAX 400 I found Superia 400 to be immensely better due to its smooth, fine grain. I wasn''t expecting a 400 film to be grainless like reala, but when you expect some grain in the picture, believe me, it doesn''t get much better if at all than what I got from this film given the speed. The funny thing was the kodak max actually gave a more accurate color rendition but the grain was just utterly unacceptable. On one occasion I shot two of my friends in their prom dresses indoor with my flash (speedlite 420EX) on and the results were absolutely stunning. The pictures were very, very sharp and virtually grainless on a 4x6 print. Another fabulous film from FUJI. Customer Service not needed Similar Products Used: kodak max 400, supra 800. Strength:
accurate , contrasy ,neutral
Weakness:
more grainy than the real , of course , but for certain mood results preferable, i give rating of 4 only because it is a little grainy but just as good as its euivalent supra film Amazing results, I took a scenery picture with identical conditions with fuji reala, fuji supra 100 and xtra400 .there was hardly a difference between this one and the supra as far as grain is concerned . colour rendition was much better and the coloures just pop out of the paper. i made a quick survey among 16 co workers in my office , most prefered the xtra 400 results even to the reala . I found that somehow people (non professional and without real photo knowledge prefer the granier images they prefer the contrastier picture . I''ll tell what , i''m going to have quite some dilemas in the future as to which film to use. Customer Service very good Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
Any situation print film
Weakness:
Cannot bow up any more than 8X10, On the cool side of colour spectrum I would use this one again instead of the Kodak Max 400. But colours are a bit on cool side. I use an SLR but for some photographers who use P&S I would really recomend it. Customer Service never used Similar Products Used: Fuji Superia 400 |

Strength:
Very good overall film for medium priced optics.
Weakness:
None Really surprised positively. I bought it only to accompany the 800 version and out of curiosity. Turned out to be a bigger positive finding than the 800... which is not bad at all. Similar Products Used: Almost all wellknown |

Strength:
Fine grain for a 400.
Weakness:
None Nice color balance, fine grain, better than average satuation. good balance. a bit cool, but not cold. Good enough skin tone for most use. Compare to the similar priced Kodak Max. This is a much better product. It is cheaper too. by a few pennies. Well worth the $2.00/roll for a multi pack at almost anywhere. Customer Service Thank god Fuji's product quality is good. and this is not a computer! Similar Products Used: Superia 200, Kodak Gold 200, Agfa Optima II |
