Strength:

-good skin tones
-nice indoor film
-great for zoom lens
-surprisingly smooth and not too grainy

Weakness:

-certain warm colors were not as radiant

I like this film for it's price and quality. I was surprised at it's ungrainy appearance, but I wish that the warm color tones were stronger-it kinda look muddy at times. Still, I use it mostly indoors w/ my zooms and no flash! I strongly recommend this film for anyone who likes taking pictures indoors or night time scenes.

Strength:

Very fine grain. Excellent color saturation. Good for sports and other "freeze action" situations. Blows up to 11x14 with no visible grain on a correctly exposed shot. Usually less expensive than Kodak.

Weakness:

None.

An excellent overall film. I shoot it almost all the time unless I want a print over 11x14 such as weddings.

Customer Service

Never needed it.

Strength:

Fast, good color saturation for 800 speed film. Lots better than the Kodak 800.

Weakness:

Seems washed out compared to slower film. Not as vibrant as I'd hoped based on reviews I've read.

I like this film but don't love it. I shoot it if I absolutely can't use flash, or if it's cloudy outside and I am stuck with a "zoom in the gloom." If I have a flash option the fastest I'll go is 400, and I really prefer Fuji Reala 100 or Kodak Portra 160NC. I'm going to try the pro version of this film next.

Strength:

Reasonable fine grain for an 800 film

Weakness:

I have been suprosed by its fine grain for an 800 film. Recently I used this in an auditorium and pushed it to 3200. I was pleasantly suprised. More experience with this film will yield good results.

Strength:

Very fine grain, excellent color reproduction, good skin tones.

Weakness:

Pictures get mucky if you are a little short on light (just outside the range of your flash).

This is a great film. Colors are excellent and pictures always come out very crisp. Don't ever worry about grain when considering this film.

Strength:

I found the colors and action really came out awesome. I used this for night pictures of 4x4 trucks offroading in the middle of the night, 98% came out awesome, the 2% were photographer error. The action shots were amazing, vivid colors. Scanned in a number of them, came out perfect. the items in the pictures poped out of them like 3d.

Weakness:

Skin tones were a little washed out, think my flash contributed to that.

Every offroad event I attend, Fuji 800 and 400 are in my bag. Kodak is good, but the pictures come alive better with the Fuji film.

Customer Service

Called Fuji for a little help with picking out a film, they answered all questions and put to rest some concerns. Thumbs up to Fuji.
