Strength:
Accurate color, fine grain for ISO400, excellent exposure latitude. I seldom use color negative film, but when I do, this is now my film of choice. |

Strength:
Great color and can use at 400. Grain is excellent for a 400 speed
Weakness:
None This is a great 400 speed film. I use it for shooting weddings and where I need speed. Great grain control, and color. Be careful where you have it processed. It will have a blue hue if you don't use an Agfa lab, but can be corrected at any lab. Similar Products Used: Fuji NPH, Kodak Royal 400, Porta 400NC Porta 400VC. All 400 speed consumer |

Agfacolor Optima II Prestige 400 ASA
Strength:
Good colors in normal lighting, not too grainy.
Weakness:
I had a hard time telling the difference from Kodak and a store brand 400 film, they all seemed to act about the same. I was happy with the performance of this film, especially after using Kodak Max 800. The skin tones and people pictures turned out pretty good and the price was reasonable. Fuji does seem to be my top choice for the best pics of people, making Agfa a close second and Kodak and far third. My pictures are hidden at: http://www.csuohio.com Customer Service They seem to have a very nice web site if help is needed. Strength:
Kirkland film at Costco is made by Agfa. It is very cheap but performs very well. It has fine grain and excellant color saturation. For general photography this is the best bargin on the planet.
Weakness:
24 exposure rolls only You get much more variations from lighting, etc that you will ever notice in film differences. Unless you have a very special need, this film will do the job with excellant results. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: Kodak Gold, Fuji |

Strength:
Fine grain, accurate colors. I would say that the Agfa 400 blends the grain of Fuji Superia with the accurate colors of Kodak Royal Gold.
Weakness:
Slightly lower contrast - this can be a good thing, thouh, but if you're shooting in overcast conditions I'd probably pick a more-enhanced film like Fuji Superia. This film has become my default 400-speed color negative film. It's quite similar to Fuji NPH rated at 250, only it's truly a 400-speed film. I like the more-natural color pallete as well, although if you're looking for "pop," there are better choices. Customer Service Not needed. Similar Products Used: Fuji, Kodak. |

Strength:
good solid colors
Weakness:
Expensive This seems like slightly better than Fuji Superia. solid color, good contrast. not noticable grains. I paid $3 at a super cheap mail order place where a regular roll of kodak gold is $1.5 fresh..... are you guys paying $1 for the real thing? somehow I don't think Afga will put their premium film in Priceclub name.... Customer Service ? Similar Products Used: Fuji Superia |
