Strength:
I use the 120 version of this film for studio portrait work where it works great. C41 process is quick and convient.
Weakness:
VERY sensitive contrast. In difficult lighting situations the results I've gotten are unacceptable. C41 processing yeilds less than perfect results. Prints can easily be toned too blue or too magenta. Good film for amatures who want BW snapshots. Very good results with a pro lab and studio lighting. Contrast in tough situations is very touchy. Strength:
one of my favorite B/W films for its very fine grain, wide exposure latitude and the negatives can be developed in C-41 anywhere.
Weakness:
1 hour shops will print this film on color paper which is terrible for final image quality. It NEEDS to be printed on B/W paper! A great film that needs to be printed on B/W paper. The grain is that of a 100 speed flim. Similar Products Used: Agfapan, Ilford delta 400, Tmax 400 |

Strength:
Let's be clear, TMAX is NOT B&W+. B&W+ is a C41 process and is bad news. TMAX can be developed in standard B&W chemicals and in TMAX developer.
Weakness:
Seems to be better developed in Rodinal than the TMAX developer. Great alternative to TRI-X. Similar Products Used: ALL |

Stay away from the C-41 processing film. It doesn't give you the same quality or color. It is better to buy regular b/w film and have it done right. The quality is so much better. good film Similar Products Used: None |
