Strength:
It is user friendly. It is not complicated like other software for digital photography.
Weakness:
It does not handle large digital files well. As iyr world of digital photography grows this software needs to grow to meet the demand. I wish they would come out with a newer version that handles large digital files and this includes jpeg. raw. tiff I really like Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006. It handle my workload quite well.

Strength:
Easy to learn
Weakness:
Cannot handle RAW format and therefore it also cannot leave the file in RAW format
Great as a beginner product. MDIS was my first venture into the digital processing world. I wanted something somewhat inexpensive to use just to see if this was something I wanted to do as a hobby. At the time I had a film camera and had the negatives developed and a CD made instead of prints. I found it very good and was pleased with the results. Plus it is straight forward as compared to Photoshop Element 4. I like how it handles blemish removal better than PSE4 but then I'm still learning PSE4. The drawback is it cannot handle the RAW format and that is what I use strictly. I would like to see them improve their product. Currently I mostly use Capture NX. CNX cannot remove blemishes. Perhaps if MDIS and CNX would consider combining efforts........... Customer Service Did not need to use them so I cannot rate this. Similar Products Used: Photoshop Element 4
