The UMAX Astra 2200 is the smart, push button scanner for home and office. With a touch of a button you can scan, copy or send images and documents to popular applications such as e-mail, document management and image editing software. With the USB interface, setup is simple. Just plug in the scanner, install the software and you're up and running in minutes. And the 2200 also has a SCSI II interface, which means that more computer systems new and old will be able to easily connect to the scanner. ??With the included Universal Transparency Cover, you can easily scan slides, negatives and other transparent material. The Transparency Cover replaces the lid on your scanner and allows you to scan transparencies up to 4" x 5". While other scanners offer transparency solutions as options, the Astra 2200 comes equipped with the transparency cover right out of the box.
