PZ8000
Strength:
Lots of features for the price (about $150): Exposure comp., multi-exposure, bulb mode, super-macro, infinity lock, red-eye, panoramic mode.
Weakness:
Film loading drum teeth broke after only 10-15 rolls of film. Frequent sun flares on photos. I was just learning how to use this camera correctly to produce good pictures, so I made my share of mistakes (not waiting for autofocus). I was pleased with the photos I took correctly, but I am not impressed with the build quality of the film loader. Maybe I was unlucky. Bottom line is I'm having a hard time finding another camera with the same numerous features, and the price wasn't too bad. Customer Service Cost of repair was 80% of new one. Strength:
Has just about every feature any one can ask for.
Weakness:
After 8 rolls of film it will not turn on, and a 60 is in the display, plus when I close the film loading door all the film advances out.I can say that when this camera did work it took great pictures, and the Panorama shots was the best I ever viewed. I cannot recomend this camera to any one because of its RELIABLY. Great features, but Vivitar should stick to Lenses Customer Service I have been trying to contact Vivitar for one week, they will not respond, I tried on their web sight, plus by phone.
