Strength:
Limited autofocus (2 or 3 steps) and autoflash (fires automatically based on film's DX code vs. fixed aperture & shutter speed), big viewfinder, uses ordinary AA batteries.
Weakness:
What you'd expect: can't focus closer than 3 feet, flash fires nearly all the time with film slower than 400. And beware occasional unexpected mid-roll rewind if you put in new batteries. I got one for my 10-year-old son, and it's turned to be surprisingly good for an el-cheapo p&s! Lens is remarkably good, simple autofocus and autoflash systems work great. A GREAT camera for kids, or high-risk snapshooting. Customer Service nope Similar Products Used: lots |
