Strength:

Nice, elegant design, sophisticated look ( I got a champaigne gold model),38-140 mm zoom enables good shooting in trip and outdoor activities

Looks great compared to canon and minolta models , like princess compared to maids

Weakness:

lens range better from 28-140 ,whether this is technically feasible?
A little heavy-weighted compared to Minolta's new Caprios 150 type.

This is a really elegant and nice camera for travels and outdoor activities . It has adequate but not troublesome funtion and is easy to use . If you want a type of camera which is economic in price and good in photo quality ,it is sure your best choice !!!
I love it ,and you ... wear it when u r travelling, cool experience

Customer Service

Strength:

Light, easy to carry into dicy situations. Reliable. Picture quality is good with all film speeds. The VERY BEST choice for travelers who don't want to look like equipment junkies.

Weakness:

Those little bitty adjustment buttons!
Have to carry a magnifying glass in the camera case. A man with big hands is out of luck.

I travel in wierd places to get the pictures I need to work with. I can't worry about my camera being fragile or stolen (I pack 2 of these....one for a back-up) I chose this camera for the zoom...it's the best of the "minis". It's never let me down....I once loaned my back-up to a traveling friend whose camera died in the Andes. She bought one for herself when we got home.

Customer Service

Never needed it

Strength:

Small Camera. Big Lens. Sharp pictues. Fits well in jacket pocket.

Weakness:

The Clamshell design and zoom helps to use up the battery fairly quickly.

No infinity lock - but it still took good pictures out of a car window.

The Clamshell design hides away the lens away from damage.

If you want a weather proof Point and Shoot that will give you good pictures inside and out, you could do a lot worse than buy this model.

Great pictures. I found it works well with both 400 & 800 ASA Fuji.

Focusing and Exposure work very well, get very few duff pics. Even with 400 on an overcast English day, at full zoom, hand held there was *NO* blurring. Also it managed to take good pictures at an Indoor Concert with no flash, 400ASA, whilst being hand held!

Always keep an eye on the battery level - when they battery's flat, you'll not be able to shut the Clamshell until you find a fresh cell. I got around 6 films with heavy use of flash and zoom for one battery.

Basically this is a good little camera that has enough flash modes to cater for most situations. Given the choice over, I'd still buy this camera.

Never need to use.

Strength:

Disappointed/returned it after 85 days and about 5 rolls of B&W and color film shot w/dismal results.

Weakness:

In spite of holding arm steadfastly pinned at side with breath held, camera shake was a problem with lens extended to 140mm

I requested an "idiot proof" camera for travel writing. This camera let me down with B&W and color film: camera shake when lens was extended. blurry photos and all-around bad photos. Yes, it was my lack of skill, but I would not recommend this for other "camera rookies" who, like me, would be happier with a $150 point and shoot Canon Sureshot.

Customer Service

Ritz Camera has been very good about accepting my return.

Strength:

Light weight and easy to use, but MOST importantly it takes beautiful pictures

Weakness:

Keep an eye out for the batteries. I have accidently put the camera in the case in such a way that the lens remained open and drained the batteries.

Great pictures of my kids. Everyone always asks what camera I use. To capture the kids properly I usually select the motion feature in the Menu. I think this is why I get so many great shots. This camera is soooo easy to use.

Customer Service

Great!! I dropped the camera once, sent it in and had it back ina week. No problems since.
