Strength:
Durable..Built Like Tank Easy to setup and use Smooth focusing Adequate movements for landscape and some architechtural work Revolving back a big convenience
Weakness:
Weight..a little heavy for extended backpacking Excellent landscape camera. Perhaps one of the best. Built like a tank. Mine accidentally fell off the tripod and rolled 45 down a steep hill and it still operated fine. A little heavy but worth it for durability. The revolving back is something that I could now not live without. Customer Service Sent camera in for replacement bellows after I bought it on e-bay. Had camera back in less than 2 weeks. Toyo-Field 45AII
Strength:
Compact, tight, high standard of manufacture. The rotating back is joy to use. Toyo film holders are the best !
Weakness:
For a field camera, none. (Less movement than a true view camera.) Unless you can afford a Linhoff, you can't get much better. Of course, buy quality glass (Rodenstock, Schneider). Customer Service None needed, but Mamiya America (Mamiya, Toyo, Sekonic, Cabin, Profoto) has superior service & support. Similar Products Used: Played with a Linhoff Technikardan. |
