Vectis 300 APS Camera
Strength:
Great colours; three sizes P, H & C; compact; great looker; durable stainless steel body; very versatile, i.e near macro & good zoom; available accessory - remote;
Weakness:
bought it on our Honeymoon, auto focus was defective, a number of our pictures were blurred due to this, very upsetting, no real sympathy from Minolta regarding this. For the most part very pleased with the camera, the size is absolutly great, for travel especially on long trips, so you don't need to haul some much equipment with ya. We bought the leather case with the camera, well worth it , but should come with the camera automatically. Neck string came with the camera, useful. Also bought a very compact mini tri-pod for the camera, @ Hernry's here in Toronto, best $20 purchase for a camera ever! Customer Service Customer service in fixing focus took 10 days Similar Products Used: Canon AE-1, Pentax K1000 |

Strength:
Very easy to use. Compact and versatile. It has so many features that you will never use them all. Very clear pictures. Allows for variable focusing and shutter speeds.
Weakness:
When using the caption feature, only the codes are displayed in the LCD, so you must either memorize or bring the code list with you to know which caption you are selecting. Very good camera with a laundry list of features. I would recommend this camera to people that like to take clear pictures when they travel and for everyday use. Unit feels very well made. Strength:
Compact, lightweight and its all-stainless steel construction. I have to admit that I was first attracted to its sleek design. But after breaking it in at a recent trip to Aruba, I was more than pleased. The camera has three picture settings. The panoramic proved to be breathtaking when taking pictures of the white sand and clear water beaches! Other features include: red-eye reduction, zoom, battery indicator, auto flash, tripod-prepped, and heavy-duty buttons.
Weakness:
N/A; however, I wish Minolta included a carrying case. You're going to pay more for this camera, but it is well worth the price. Similar Products Used: Canon Elph, Olympus |
