This Yashica is the best value for money medium format camera you can get. Compared to other brands and similar types this is the one to get. The optics is very good and the prints youll get is very sharp or soft..you can simply choose what to do.(F8,F11 or 3,5) Its a little masterpiece of a true workhorse and very strong built. air filter replacements

This Camera has such a fantastic form factor. Perfectly sized and quite comfortable in my hands compared to my other cameras. I use mine with the Pentax 50mm F1.4 and can achieve excellent shots with little effort, thanks to the accurate light meter and aperture priority mode. It uses Lr44/A76 batteries which are easy to find and readily available. It is compatible with my threaded shutter release cable a feature which is lacking from my Contax RTS and Canon EOS 1000s.

The shutter is relatively slow at only 1/1000s so shooting wide open on a sunny day often requires a filter. With the LCD readout information only in the viewfinder, you are forced to have your eye shoved in constantly. The LCD uses daylight to light it up so this camera's light meter is useless at night without an external light source (like a flashlight)
