Best camera for the money. Haven't used Nikon NXXs extensively, but for me the Canon provided more bang for the buck. I looked at the N65, but the camera was not flexible enough. The N80 eliminated the simplicity of the N65. The Elan 7 combined them both. The programmed image mode selections make it easy for my wife to pick up as a 35mm point and shot. Overall, the camera is as easy as you can get -- but it can also take you up to the intermediate level.

A week after my purchase, I took it to the Carribean and brought back some great shots. I'll post some later.

I purchased my camera at Beach Camera in Bound Brook with a Tamron 24-135mm lense. I walked in for my purchase, and they honored the web price without any hassle. Overall, the combination is unbeatable for the price.
