Nikon 1 mirrorless cameras offer interchangeable lens versatility in a very compact and consumer-friendly camera body. Like its predecessor the Nikon J1, the J2 has a 10-megapixel CX-format CMOS sensor, full HD video and Nikon's excellent hybrid auto focus system. To those features, Nikon has added a higher-resolution LCD display, an on/off switch on the lens barrel and a Creative Mode on the mode dial.
