Strength:

Very compact
Price competitive with Leica-quality lens
Good overall resolution
Has On/Off switch and Play/Camera switch instead of buttons. A good way to prevent accidentally turning on the camera in your pocket.
GPS & WiFi

Weakness:

Resolution: Fuji FinePix F800 has better resolution at 16 MP.
Fuji has better lens at F5.3 than 6.4.
As good as Intelligent zoom is, when you are in the digital zoom area, you are still cropping the image to give the impression of zooming closer before writing to an image file. Having 40x digital zoom your camera will operate at 20x for optimal resolution even with Intelligent zoom.

A good performer but with similar specs the Fuji FinePix F770 or the updated version F800 would be better buy. The 1 catch here is the Leica name on the lens.

The Fuji F800 you need to keep your finger on the On/Off and Play button for a few s to activate to prevent turning on accidentally. Here you have a switch instead of a button.
