Good image. You can choose several image resolutions and lighting situations. If you mix them up you can get some interesting results.

The exposure knob around the shutter may shift, if you're putting the camera in and out of a case, so you may get an undesired result. The camera seems delicate, I feel like I have to be careful how firm I hold it. Regular alkaline batteries don't last long, cold weather seems to drain them faster than the meter indicates.

Good camera for the price. Makes good images. A good amount of exposure control and options. Turn on time is quick but there is a bit of shutter lag that can throw you off if you want to take action shots. If you try and use it in a hurry your thumb might end up pressing something on the back and interrupt the shot. I would suggest this camera for someone with some photography knowledge who knows what they want to do. The flash is good, throws a lot of light but spontaneous shots are hard if the flash is not already charged, that takes some time.

I got this camera because i loved sony cybershot 4 megapixel camera. But to my utter disappointment this camera made you look worse. very bad picture quality. i am goign to return it
