Strength:
Easy to use Friendly user interface Good resolution Low chormatic aberration Uses AA batteries (easy to buy and recharge) User can have control over aperture and shutter speed, shutter speed is up to 15 secs, excellent for night long exposure. Voice recorder; caption for individual pic Light weight for the features it offers
Weakness:
IT HAS THE WORST FOCUSING MECHANISM. I can't believe how bad the focus is, the camera can't focus at all, generally it will do good when you point @ a spot between a STRAIGHT black and white area. Slightly dimmer or lower contrast scene will kill this camera--it will never focus!! DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA UNLESS YOU CAN STAND THE CRAPPY FOCUS MECHANISM IT HAS. It's a real pain in butt to me. Bought a 2nd hand from eBay. Generally a good all-around beginner to intermediate level digital camera. Typical 3x optical zoom lens. I use the shutter/aperture priority and manual mode all the time. Been using it for 5 months, gonna sell it and buy a digital camera with better focusing performance. Customer Service N/A Similar Products Used: SONY CD-500 (Never liked SONY's DC, but I can't argue that CD-500 has the best resolution from the 5 megapixels DC) |
