I am very pleased with the 1.55 million pixel C.harge C.ouple D.evice. The digital still pictures are very good detail, and the adjustable flash makes proper lighting very easy to create. The Menus are also very user friendly with picture icons to help you through them. The Carl Zeiss Variable Sonnar Lens is a very high grade lens for a camcorder in this price range. Coupled with the infinite manual focus and adjustable shutter speeds both still pictures and movies are prosumer grade.
