I last used REALA about 12 years ago and concluded that it produced ‘nice but nothing special’ prints. Based on the many favourable reviews on this forum I recently gave the film another go, shooting it on a variety of camera/lens combinations. The Carl Zeiss Variable Sonnar Lens. 1/4 to 1/4000 adjustable Progressive type shutter speed. 1.55 million pixel C.C.D. Digital audio dubbing. ILink, S-video in/out,A/V in/out, USB in/out, headphone jack, and an external microphone jack.

The included memory stick is too small. The included USB cable is only about 2 feet long.

I am very pleased with the 1.55 million pixel C.harge C.ouple D.evice. The digital still pictures are very good detail, and the adjustable flash makes proper lighting very easy to create. The Menus are also very user friendly with picture icons to help you through them. The Carl Zeiss Variable Sonnar Lens is a very high grade lens for a camcorder in this price range. Coupled with the infinite manual focus and adjustable shutter speeds both still pictures and movies are prosumer grade.
