Twelve by seven centimetres (4.7 x 2.8 inch) and just under 200g in weight – the new AgfaPhoto DV-5000Z is hardly any bigger than a digital still camera. At the same time this handy video camera uses the latest HD technology, a five megapixel Micron CMOS sensor and a 3x optical zoom offering the hobby movie maker plenty of possibilities. Movies are recorded via analogue YPbPr video signal with a maximum resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixel. With the 2.5” rotating and pivoting LCD display, the subject can be viewed in every shooting position – no matter where you find yourself. And of course, videos aren't just for viewing: they are captured with 16-bits stereo sound. Whether on family holidays or mountain hiking through the Alps, its simple operation will enable even beginners to take high-res videos. Up to four hours and 20 minutes of film in HD format can fit on an SDHC memory card with eight-Gigabyte capacity.
