Strength:
Build quality, expandability, there are many add on bits and pieces if you need them. all weather cover is included in its own pocket quick access through the top cover two soft pouches and two compartment dividers included the entire inside can be removed to clean etc. or use the bag for other things
Weakness:
None I can always use a new bag, and since this one was on sale, I picked it up.I can pack an SLR film or digital body, a 17 to 40 zoom, 85/1.8, 200/2.8 and flash, with room for filters, cords, lots of film etc. and a soft canvas bag for day excurisions when traveling. This the first LowePro product I have purchased, and I find this bag to be good value for the money. Some reviewers have complained about the weight, don't pack so much stuff. Customer Service Don't need it yet. Similar Products Used: Domke Tamrac |

Quality Easy access Capacity "Raincoat"
Weakness:
The 400 doesn't come with enough dividers. Fortunately the folks at Lowepro will be more than happy to sell you more. :) I've only owned three bags before the 400, but I've tried dozens in the past few years, and this is my favorite. It's a perfect size for my gear. If I find myself needing more room, I've either packed too much or should have used a backpack instead. The 400 can carry my D60 body, 16-35/2.8, 50/1.4, 70-200/4, 100/2.8 macro, and all of the hoods. I also carry a 550EX flash (not a small unit), filter/memory wallet, 3 extension tubes, and a pile of caps, cords, remotes, and other trinkets. I sometimes replace the 70-200/4 with an f/2.8 or 300/4 with no trouble. If I reverse the hood, my 70-200 can stay on the camera in the "shooter position," but it does make the bag bulge a little so I prefer not to. My Tamrac 619 was very comparable in size and capacity but not nearly as convenient to work out of. Customer Service I've only used them to order more dividers. They seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. Similar Products Used: Tamrac 617 Super Pro Lowepro Nova 4 |

Weakness:
Heavy when fully loaded and it''''''''s bulky when your trying to walk around without getting noticed For my needs this is a great bag. I can pack all of my equipement in this bag, 2 bodies, 4 lenses (including a telephoto), a flash, film and a filters. I carried it around Spain for 3 weeks last summer and it handled perfectly. I''''''''ll admit it''''''''s heavy but I also could of packed it more sensibly before leaving the room each morning. All in all this a good bag from a renown manufacturer, for the price, you can''''''''t go wrong. Customer Service Never required their help Similar Products Used: Tamrac bags |

Street & Field Reporter 400 AW
Strength:
Built-in rain cover is nearly monsoon-proof. Holds the right amount of gear without stressing your shoulder. With a good amount of protection from knocks and bumps.
Weakness:
Doesn't work well with the belt unless you have a suspender/vest setup, but at least you have the shoulder straps. A wonderful bag. Customer Service Great web site, and with worldwide distributors. But I needed no service yet. Similar Products Used: Too many to list |

Strength:
Good looking bag that's built to last. It's deep for a body w/ an 80-200mm f/2.8. attached. And it keeps a little slimmer profile than my old Nova 4, which my system grew out of. The AW protection is a plus for rainy day shooting. A nice bag for the $$$.
Weakness:
No one bag or case is perfect for every occasion or outing. I will probably be getting one of the Trekker series bags and an Orion AW as well. I carry a camera body, 17-35 f/2.8, 28-105 f/3.5-4.5, and an 80-200 f/2.8, w/ an SB-26 and SC-17 cord, 10 rolls of film and filters in this bag with a bit of room left over. If it was any bigger I would put more into it and wouldn't be able to lift it! It's also good to know that I can add to its capabilities with Lowepro's "Street & Field" system. I really like this bag and would reccomend it to anyone with a similar kit. Customer Service I've heard good things about Lowepro, but I've never needed the service myself. Replaced my Domke F2 with the AW400 and found it perfect for my needs. Its deep enough for a 300 F4 to be standing up and all my equipment is easy to reach. The "raincoat" has saved my equipment from being drenched twice and just this feature proved itself. Having the optional S & F pouches, lens cases, bottle holder etc makes this bag something you can build on or alter for your shooting needs. I found having the lightwieght belt attached while I'm climbing mountains during my MTB outings a real bonus.
Weakness:
Kind'of looks like a camera bag therefore it can be a target for thieves. A great bag for most applications. If you need more room then go for the AW500, less? then buy the AW300. I doubt if you will be disappointed. Its built to last for many years..... Customer Service None required. Similar Products Used: None |

Lots of room, plenty of dividers and lens cups included. Double weather protection with two built-in pull out covers. Great build quality, good looking, lots of options with accessories.
Weakness:
When it is loaded, it could weigh a ton depending on what gear you have. No lens cradle. Great looking expandable soft bag with plenty of room and storage sections. I would like to see a cradle to support a body with lens attached. Similar Products Used: Tamarac |

Strength:
- Doesn't look like a camera bag initially. But the load and build will eventually give away.
Weakness:
- Too big to travel in alleys and public transports. A nice looking bag but if full space is loaded, it can be too big and heavy as a shoulder bag. If use with the waist belt, it won't be as convenient as what a shoulder bag usually provides. Nevertheless, the design is good with lotsa innovation and thoughts. Strength:
As per other reviews. Lots of pockets; easy access; can be used with or without the liner.
Weakness:
The shoulder strap is unusable - it has a shoulder curve but it doesn't fit my shoulder. Other Lowe-Pro straps are better. A good bag spoilt for me by a poor shoulder strap. Fortunately I have a pile of other Lowe-Pro gear so I can use the strap from there. Similar Products Used: None |
