Looks/material/accessories. Zippers on top are a simple but effective feature. Rain cover is also a nice touch. The above post mentioned a weakness being the strap. When I remove the F5 and the lens the bag becomes invisible.

Okay for me the F5 with the lens sits sideways against one end, the Tokina is about in the middle and the SB-28 and cord are on the other end. Where the hell you get , "two SLR bodies, 4 to six lenses a laptop/phone plus kitchen sink", is beyond me.

Very well made and good looking. F5/35-135/SB-26/SC-17 and a Tokina 24-200mm. Filters, notepads and film in the back, with pens, money and "personal protection" in the front.

I have read the other rave summaries for this bag (and not so great reviews for the higher numbers) before I purchased it, thinking this would be my "carry all" bag. I was a little disappointed with the size when I actually held it for the first time (first time I have bought before trying- so the joke is on me) . It is a great bag as all of my gear fits in to it, but I don''t understand how others have crammed as much equipment as their reviews have said. My eos 3 body w/sigma 24-70/2.8, 75-300IS and sigma 500 super flash fill the bag almost to its max, leave only a very small opening for expansion (maybe another 50mm lens max) Other than the space issue, the rest of the features are great. The rain cover has undoubtedly saved my camera from the snow, and the easily accessible pockets are very convenient to work with. The shoulder strap has just enough padding so it''s comfy w/o being cumbersome, and the easy access zipper on top I have utilized more than I thought I would.

I love this bag, it''s so big that you won''t belive it.. I''ve owned the Lowepro Nova 3 that was an ok bag but there is not so much space for film and other things. Altought it''s just a little bigger, it can hold about 20-30 film, a Canon 1n HS, Canon 28-70 L, 70-200 L, Speedlite 540EZ and so much more..

Tough, well thought out design. Quick access with good protection from elements. High quality material, fittings and webbing on a discreet design. Adjustable interior padding sections and storage slots.

It has a waist belt slot but it will not connect to the harness systems. With a typical payload this is a shame as the harness would shift the weight evenly onto the waist and shoulders during long periods of walking to stop shoulder sag.

Great smart looking bag, ideal for street or active photographers. Pity about the harness connection but I am extremely pleased with my Reporter.

This is a great bag, it blows away Domke and easier to work out of than Tamrac. I love the zipper top cover and all the rain protection, padding is superb and the bag really does sit on your hip nicely. I recently discovered Lowe Pro bags, they have something for everyone it seems and great warrenty too. I am totally pleased with the bag and liked the Domke bags, but these bags take the Domke concept and have made significant improvements on it. We the consumers are the winners, take a look at one the Reporter bags, you will be surprised.

Padding on strap could be better

In terms of asthetics, functionality, features, versatility, comfort & durability, this is the best bag I have ever come across. It does not like the usual conventional ugly camera bag. It is a bag I won't be shy carrying even when going for some formal events. The bag is indeed very well though out and very good value for money. After 2 months of intensive shopping for a bag, I finally found my dream bag. Highly recommended!

For me, the number one feature is the quick access to gear through zipper on top flap. Somewhat shapeless outer material conforms to your body for a comfortable fit. Ample room for gear. Plenty of hidden pockets. Ability to add other Street and Field gear.

Would be nicer if the front pocket was larger. Perhaps a zip out no-drop pocket like they have on other bags.

I have literally owned about a dozen bags trying to find one I really like. After trying a Domke, I knew I was close, only I wanted something with some padding. The Reporter is just it, the Domke concept with padding. I really liked the quick access zipper in this bag, it's what really sold me on it after having the sideline shooter which has this too.

Comfortable, soft, good looking, AW cover, hood (sort of umbrella). Big enough for a 35mm body with grip, 28-105, 70-300, 50mm, a pro flash, another flash and TTL cords, and much space for film or another body.

Should have come with a waistbelt to make it more comfortable when heavy loaded.

First soft bag that I've tried and I love it. More padded than the Domke, and I think it's a little bigger. Great bag for many situations and it's adjustable to fit a heavy load or to carry less equipment with a couple of side straps. Worth taking a look.
