Strength:

Sturdy, nice bag. The wet weather shield is rather nice as is the large strap.

Weakness:

The tripod attachment straps are a waste of time and there could be a little more room to handle all of my MF gear including my Metz strobe.

Get one today. This is a commercial bag.

Strength:

nice design. nice top mesh pocket for quick access to small things. like a filter being used often or batteries.
fat padded shoulder strap. nice accesory pouch (needs to include 2! cmon how expensive are they? you pay too much already) nice pockets in front flap.
nice AW cover though a bit to small.

Weakness:

to expensive for chinese made product!!!
i wish it had some instruction for configuring the bag! how the hell you supposed to know what divider goes where? that stupid 2mm drawing on the tag doesn't help much. the medium format containers are not ridged enough. the sqaush so easily. how are they supposed to help hold a MF camera?the other part of the velcro is stiched in the body of the bag(soft side) why don't they make it go all the way up to the edge instead of only 60% up.
i use to levels where i place all the hard stuff at the bottom and the smaller stuff like sc17 cords my cd case (used for filter) light meter and battery pouch all on top. and i use 2 dividers to sit on top of the other equipment. i hardly have room anywhere on the wall to stick the dividers. the previous review was correct about the flash situation. i have to carry my metz flash in my nova 5. i am aware that MF equipment is big. but this bag hardly fits MF equipment. u need 2 bags to carry what a pro needs in the today world.

LOWEPRO!! TAKE NOTE!!! YOU ARE BEING TO CHEAP ON FABRIC!!! AN INCH HERE AND ANOTHER POUCH WON'T COST MUCH AND IT WILL MAKE CUSTOMERS HAPPY!
I AM SURE THERE WILL BE COMPANIES ARISING VERY SOON GIVING MORE TO THE CUSTOMER FOR LESS $$'S
2 STARS FOR CHARGING TO MUCH!
3- STARS FOR BEING CHEAP ON FABRIC! (IT GOES FOR ALL LOWEPRO BAGS)

Customer Service

Strength:

Lowe Pro Quality and the fact that the bag handled everything I put in it without difficulty. Very rugged and surprisingly light weight. Built in rain cover. Suspended equipment dividers and "cups" keep equipment off the bottem. Rigid plastic skid plates on bottom

Weakness:

Lens pockets could be a little more sug but a lens wrap solves that problem and gives even more protection

I read a previous, less than favorable review for this product twice before buying. I made 2 trips to look at the thing before buying based on low review. In truth I could not see what the problem was. Recognizing that no bag is perfect for your needs, this is a great bag for a medium format system and I would recommend it highly. The issue of lens compartment size being large for 645 lenses isn't a big deal because if you were carrying an RB67 you would welcome the extra space for the larger lenses of that system. Perhaps if Lowepro developed an adjustable system for lenses then everyone could be 100% satisfied. Yes, the bag is a little pricey but I think you get what you pay for with this one. Besides I could have spent 3 times as much for the Mamiya fitted case and had problems there too. The ONLY reason I knocked down the overall rating was the price issue but LowePro has always been high and they are still around anyway...must say something for their product.
