protective good materials

somewhat expensive, inconvenient location of shoulder strap attachment

This bag would be perfect for me if not for the way the shoulder strap is attached to the bag - centered on the backside. I would have MUCH preferred the straps attached to the sides of the bag. Too bad. Other than that, the materials and padding are excellent. Build quality is on par with LowePro and Tamrac. Good metal zipper pulls (so why not a good metal strap attachment?).
