I've carried it around enough to post an objective review. First, let me say that this is a fine product, with the typical LowePro attention to detail and quality control. It's sturdy and well-made and I expect to be using this pack for a long time to come. Hattiesburg On-Site Truck Repair

Hi. If you are looking at this and you think you might need one of this bag. Think about it.

It really depends on what you really use for your current setting

it isn't a bag for you if you are a new starter in photography.

Myself is a sport photography, I carry 400mm F5.6/ L and 70-200MM f2.8 IS II

and two camera, and 24-70 F2.8 L and fillter and this bag is full ...but there are still load of space outside of the bag..(there are enough pockets!) and you can still pick all the stuff (like drinks, books! document Ipods) the bag is never full.

therefore , if you are a professional and need to carry THAT amount of gear and then this is a bag for you.. if you are a wedding photographer you definitely need two bag..

one to carry to the building and lighter one you can carry around in the wedding.

If you are sport or wildlife photography , it is a bag for you . as it can carry such a large lens

It is highly recommeded that you go to a shop to have a look before you buy it

as it is a really huge bag you wouldn't need to use it so often...

and ...

it cost £120 it worths it honestly .

Good build quality Plenty of space

Weakness:

Shoulder strap design flaw Too deep

I bought this bag because my old ones couldn't hold all of my equipment any longer. A large and heavy bag is difficult to carry other than as a backpack, so this was my choice. The first thing I thought when I used it was that it was quite bulky. I think it's too deep. Much more so than my gear requires. (D30, 70-210/2.8, 2 other lenses and filters etc.) They could easily have reduced the depth by one inch. Other than that the main compartment seem well built and solid. The padding of the shoulder straps isn't very good, and they are too short. I have to choose between having padding on my shoulders and a stomach strap, or use the last inch of padding on my shoulders and a waist belt. And I'm below average height (178 cm = 5'10").

Strength:

Fairly Lightweight. Solid construction. Nicely padded. Lots of Room.

Weakness:

Expensive.
So it is not a real good value, unless you pick one up cheap.

I got mine used for $25. It is fantastic. If you can find a deal take it, it is worth every penny and then some.

Large, has room for both of my SLR's, all 5 lenses, plus my flash, point and shoot and I still had room left over. It is very convinient. It fits in the overhead compartment of airplanes with room to spare.

Weakness:

Highly recommended. Has a ton of room, the price is right and it takes a beating

Strength:

Will comfortably hold a Nikon F4s body, FE body with MD-12 drive, 300mm f2.8 and 80-200 f2.8 AF lenses and 5 smaller manual focus primes, TC etc plus filters, film and so on. There's still enough room left over to carry a Metz 60 series flash in the top lid pocket, spare nicads, lightmeter etc.

It's also very durable, mine is holding out well and is very comfortable.

Can add extra pockets to the backpack if you require them which incrases it's carrying capacity.

Weakness:

No vertical mount for tripod.

A great backpack for those times when the Pro Trekker isn't required for carrying big lenses like a 600/4.

Strength:

Well-made, sturdy bag with configurable internal dividers - means you can create lots of nooks and crannies to pack away all those bits & pieces you *might* need (see weaknesses below!)
Once properly loaded, and the webbing adjusted, the pack carries well with little sagging for a bag without a solid frame. I wouldn't want to be out in a monsoon, but it certainly keeps things dry on a typical day in the welsh hills (rain, sun, more run, sun, wind and then more rain - all in the space of an hour)

This is a bit of an overkill if you only carry an SLR and a couple of lenses.

Weakness:

weight! The bag itself is not light & it's easy to overload (first time I had 2 TLRs, a 4x5 field camera, darkslides, filters, meters, film, flash etc. I could hardly pick it up!).

Lack of a tripod carrier is a pain, especially they are only £5 to buy seperately on a bag that cost £125.

Well made, sturdy and easily able to carry a lot of gear. Think of your total investment in camera equipment - it's worth paying a bit extra for a bag that'll keep it safe whilst being comfortable to wear.
