Strength:

I once tried this feature by standing near a wall, facing it, with the shutter release pushed. The camera didn't fire. I started slowly backing away from the wall; as soon as the wall was in focus, the camera fired. It did the same when I backed up rapidly. semi truck repair

I have more RCA A/V cables than devices so I didn’t need another one, but an extra FireWire cable would have been handy. A/C Repair Service

Strength:

Well made, l
Loks good in most respects

Weakness:

dosent accommadate the lens it claims it dose
Waterproof zip very stiff
Bit short on small pouches for spare batterys and memory cards in dry compartment

I purchaced a dryzone rover to use with my canon EOS 7D and lenses in particular my canon 70-200 f2.8 L IS USM
Lowepro specificaly claim it is suitable for a 70-200 2.8f lens
Even the documentation supplied with the Rucksack, it states it fits a“pro DSLR with grip and 70-200mm lens.
..... But the depth of the waterproof compartment measures only 21cm
(they claim in the literature accompanying the rucksack 8.7 inches which is approx 22cm)
The length of the Canon 70-200mm lens on its own in its Canon case supplied with the lens is 25mm
The Lowepro literature shows a diagram of the camera attached to the lens in the bag (which is normal as it will then be conveniently ready for use)
The total length of the Canon 7D camera attached to the Canon 70-200 lens is 28cm
In conclusion I have been disappointed to find that the rucksack will not accommodate the 70-200 ,2.8f lens as claimed in the Lowepro literature either on its own or attached to the camera. so im now forced to return it the the internet retailer

Strength:

It does like it says, the waterproof bottom section holds your gear in a nice enclosed area. It is deep enough to fit a 80-200mm lens, wide angle, flash, camera body, and some other misc items.

The top part has a nice good open section for the bladder , a rain coat or clothing, food etc.

Riding or wearing it is very comfortable with two straps one for your chest and one for you waist.

Weakness:

The biggest pain is the waterproof zipper. It is very difficult to close. If you are looking for a pack where you can be stopping every few minutes to get your gear out then this would drive you crazy. If you plan on riding or doing whatever you do to get to a location to shoot then it is not as bothersome. And forget about using the zipper during the winter, I was in negative temps and couldn't get it to budge.

The lower section does have a clasp that I find adequate to use to keep things close without having to use the waterproof zipper if you are not doing anything where you worry about getting your gear wet.

It also could use some more small pockets inside the waterproof area. It has two small pockets for your flash cards and that's it.

Having risked it for a few years using a LowePro Mini Trekker backpack , with a Camelbak in the outside pocket, I jumped at the chance to purchase the Rover when I saw it came out. No more need to be paranoid that my bladder will break causing all my gear to get wet during a ride. Having purchased a number of LowePro packs in the past I expected nothing but good quality out of this one as well.

It's pretty spend for a backpack but not out of lilne. I think its positives outweigh its negatives.
