    Review 1 of 4

    Summary:
This should be your first lens in the 67 system. Excellent sharpness and fine detail very well rendered. More of my 16x20 enlargements have come from this lens than any other, with the 55(n) being second. Easily renders negatives sharp to a 10x and 15x loup.

    Strengths:
Excellent image quality; relatively small, very well built

    Weaknesses:
    None

    Similar Products Used:
    none

    Customer Service:
    Not needed

    Model Reviewed:
    SMCP 67 105mm f/2.4

    Summary:
this is simply a good lense to have in the pentax system. if your going to have this system this is probably the best lense to start out with, it's not gonna cost you an arm and a leg to buy. and it certainly performs extremely well.

    Strengths:
extremely shallow depth of field at f2.4. it's so sot and blurry in the backgound it's beautiul. it's perfect for available light too.

    Weaknesses:
    odd filter sie maybe?

    Similar Products Used:
    to many to name

    Customer Service:
haven't ever had a problem yet.

    Review 3 of 4

    Model Reviewed:
    SMCP 67 105mm f/2.4

    Summary:
I picked this lens because it is handy to have a "normal" focal length lens for a system. Pentax offers a 90mm as well. A 90mm is the norm for 6x7, but I liked the 105mm because it was more affordable, faster, and equivalent to a 55mm in 35mm format. It would still make a great portrait lens despite preferences to use a mild telephoto for portraits.

    Strengths:
An open aperature of 2.4, need you say more? Fast, sharp, and handy when you want lots of depth of field. Highest quality lens, and the most affordable lens in the medium format family

    Weaknesses:
Not a leaf shutter lens for thos strobe/flash happy photographers, but then again it would not be a bargin if it were.

    Similar Products Used:
    CF 80 and many others

    Customer Service:
    Nope

    Review 4 of 4

    Model Reviewed:
    SMCP 67 105mm f/2.4

    Summary:
It's probably me, but I like what I get with the 55 better. This is the "Normal" lens for the P67, but most of the time it's not the one that is called for when I find the picture, I guess.

    Strengths:
I like it only sorta. I t's resonsible for the one real keeper from my P67 that didnt' come from the 55MM lens.

    Weaknesses:
    Weighs a ton.
